Our classroom door is all Twitter-ified. Once a week each student is asked to share what they learned on an erasable sentence strip.

From Holbrook to Mars

Maybe you've heard that NASA has put a new rover on Mars called Curiosity, but
I bet you don't know one of the people that worked on it was from our hometown!
Aaron Yazzie, who graduated from Holbrook High School, helped to create this awesome piece of technology, that is now 225 million km from Earth.



Here's the first picture of Mars in color, taken by Curiosity earlier this week, it kind of looks like the landscape around here!
